Luke Stevenson brings together extensive experience in both education and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment for children of all ages.

As a teacher in international schools across Switzerland, Luke has taught students from Kindergarten through Secondary School, giving him a deep understanding of how children learn and develop at every age. As a Physical Education and Health Teacher, he has helped hundreds of students build confidence, coordination, resilience, and healthy habits through movement and sport.

Complementing his teaching experience, Luke has a university degree in Psychology, providing him with valuable insight into child development, learning, motivation and behavior. This educational foundation allows him to create classes that are not only physically engaging but also developmentally appropriate and supportive of each child’s individual needs. He understands that every child learns in their own unique way and adapts his approach to help each student achieve their potential.

To support the diverse international community, Luke speaks English, German, Spanish, and Portuguese, allowing him to communicate effectively with both children and parents from a wide range of backgrounds.

Luke believes that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is about much more than self-defence. His classes focus on developing respect, discipline, teamwork and self-confidence, helping children build character both on and off the mats.
